Rugby is an important part of sport at Bellpark Primary School and promotes teamwork, discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Learners are encouraged to participate and develop their skills through structured, age-appropriate training led by dedicated coaches. Our u/7 and u/8 teams play tag rugby as an introduction to the game, while contact rugby is played from u/9 level onwards. Team selections are conducted through fair trials, and we strive to provide opportunities for as many learners as possible. An official rugby jersey will be provided to all players for matches. As part of our rugby programme, the 1st team group also participates in an annual tour, providing players with valuable competitive and team-building experiences.
